You have three options to locate the stock feed that you are looking for.
The first two options will list the commodity that is relevant for
your region, the third is to go straight to a lot number.
Standard search
is the most common way to locate all stock feed relevant for your area. You may
then easily refine your search based on Type, Species, Grade and Bale size.
Feed Analysis search
will list all stock feed for your selected area with a current
feed analysis report. You will then easily be able to refine your search
according to Protein, Metabolisable Energy (M.E), Digestibility, Acid Detergent
Fibre (ADF) and Neutral Detergent Fibre (NDF). Individual
Lot Number search provides for location
of a listing when the Lot Number is known. This
option is useful to view a lot that has been recommended by Feed Central.
Forward Order Feed Central regularly undertakes forward contracts for hay, straw, grain and other commodities with both buyers and sellers.
We have made it very easy and as fast as possible, just follow the prompts.
The information that you get is very detailed, but easy to read and understand.
Each individual lot is graded, with an extensive report on the important quality
attributes. In most cases we will have a photo of the specific lot of hay - you
can view the picture by clicking the "view hay" link on the individual
report.
We give delivered prices using the internet. Once you find the commodity
that you want, follow the links to email us an oqder. Alternatively call us
for a more personalised service (1300 669 429).
Please view our Grading
standards on the this will
show you the criteria which we use to grade each lot.
Any hay that has
been inspected by Feed Central will be guaranteed to match the grade given.

Take your time and have a good look around, we are sure that you will
find hay that meets your requirements. However, if the commodity that you want is not
here please contact us anytime on 1300 669 429 - we will be only too happy to
spend time working with you to find the commodity that suits your requirements perfectly.
The Benefits Of Working With Feed Central For Your Stock Feed Supplies
We are not just a web page. While you can source hay and grain on our internet site, we work
over the phone, through on-farm visits, via fax and email.
We take the
hassle out of hay and the fuss out of feed for you. You concentrate on what you do best and we source the
most suitable commodity for your operation.
Our grading, quality and transport
systems ensures we can deliver a consistent quality commodity to you 365 days a year.
Our only motivation is to sell cost-effective produce that will perform for you.
Across all markets we work to deliver exactly what the customer wants.
For example a dairy farmer normally does not need and is not prepared to pay for
chaffing grade lucerne, similarly they would not benefit if a load of weaner type
hay turned up.
Normally we have a large variety of hay on our books for sale.
It would be most unusual if there was not at least one lot of hay that suited
your requirements perfectly. All hay that you buy from Feed Central is guaranteed
to be of at least the standard described.
Feed Central gives the customer
the opportunity to buy commodity based on feed analysis eg units of energy / cents per
kg or the traditional method of $ per tonne or per bale. We offer long
term contracts to help minimise price fluctuations and to ensure set quality standards
for several months in advance. In summary we aim
to build partnerships with our customers. The true measure of a successful partnership
is that all parties are better off by working together than alone. Our aim is
to build very successful partnerships.
The Deal
I.
If you find a commodity that you are interested in please contact us and we can discuss
the details - such as price, volume, delivery schedule, payment terms etc.
II.
Presuming we agree on the detail - it is ONLY AT THIS POINT THAT
AN AGREEMENT EXISTS, between Feed Central (as the seller) and The Buyer (as
the purchaser). III. To avoid any potential misunderstanding
we fax out a computer generated contract which we ask you to sign and fax back
to us.
IV. The commodity is delivered according to your requirements /
delivery schedule.
V. We do everything possible to avoid disputes,
however, in the unfortunate event of a dispute arising from the contract, the
National Agricultural Commodity Marketing Association (NACMA) recommended dispute
resolution process will be adopted. If the Feed Central contract does not adequately
cover the issue in question, the NACMA Trade Rules will apply. |
