Field Representative (Hay Inspector)
Feed Central leads the fodder industry in the accurate assessment of Fodder Products. We pride ourselves on our ability to not only describe hay accurately, but to ensure customers have complete peace of mind in relation to weed contamination and chemical residues.
Every line of hay marketed through Feed Central is sold with a Feed Central Hay Quality Certificate which documents numerous attributes of the hay. These include Feed Tests, Vendor Declaration and the Feed Central Quality Guarantee.
Our attention to detail has seen us become the largest domestic hay marketing company, with extensive trading operations throughout the Australia.
Due to the increasing demand for our services, Feed Central now requires a team of regionally based accredited Field Representatives (Hay Inspector).
The positions will suit a self employed person or couple, student or part time worker. Applicants must be prepared to operate under their own ABN and preferably through their registered company. Hours and workload will depend on the region and the season. The activities could become a viable full time arrangement for some individuals and for others it could be very much part time.
Availability during peak hay production periods in your area is essential. Knowledge of hay is important, but not essential as training is provided. Attention to detail, accuracy and very high paperwork / recording skills are essential in this job — as is the ability to leave the client with an exceptional impression of Feed Centrals professionalism. Some light manual work is required during the inspection process.
A strong local network will add to the success of the position by bringing suppliers into the Feed Central Marketing system.
