There are two ways that Feed Central markets hay:

This is where the Feed Central team negotiates contracts between buyers and sellers. Contract sizes generally start from 100 tonne, with delivery terms ranging from 3 month to 3 years.

A very successful way to sell hay is through our Consignment listing service. Through this service the grower sets the sell price and the hay stays on farm until sold.  The hay is marked via this web site (view listings) and the Feed Central sales team make personal representations to buyers through both on farm visits and phone calls.

Regardless of the system used all hay passes through our HAY CERTIFICATION SERVICE.
