Forward Orders
What is Forward Orders?
Simply, Forward Orders is where Feed Central organises to grow and produce
hay to buyer specifications. It starts by Feed Central understanding the buyer's
requirements and involves Feed Central managing the entire supply chain
including planting (helping the grower select the right variety), harvesting,
storage, transport and the administration. Feed Central's Hay Certification
service is a critical component behind the Forward Orders system. It gives
buyers the confidence that hay will meet pre-determined quality criteria.
Forward Orders Benefits
The Feed Central Forward Orders System allow buyers and sellers to rest secure in the knowledge that their feed supply is secure and managed by independent professionals with experience in the field.

For Buyers
Feed Central's Forward Orders program ensures you have a reliable supply
of good quality feed. You're protected from seasonal and market fluctuations,
and quality is assured through strict visual grading specifications, sampling
procedures and feed analysis.
Contracts are flexible enough to accommodate your
cash-flow and seasonal requirements.
It's the smart and profitable way to buy feed.
For Growers
With a Feed Central Forward Orders contract in place, you can grow and
harvest with confidence. Your contract is flexible enough to accommodate
variation in growing conditions and is supported by Feed Central's experienced
admin and logistics experts.
Most importantly if your crop fails or gets
downgraded, we won't force you to supply.

Quality Control
Our team of experienced and Certified Inspectors visit farms across the
country to sample, assess and document the quality of hay prior to sale and
delivery. Most importantly we do the sampling for Feed Analysis ourselves (so
you know that the result is accurate). The Certified Inspector is trained to
grade each line visually, using our unique points based visual grading system
and produces a Quality Certificate for every listing. This is a simple one page
report that states the grade; the visual and the feed analysis attributes of the
product. We take quality so seriously that we train our carriers and drivers as
Certified Inspectors, so they can check the quality as it is loaded.
Pricing
With Feed Central you get a guaranteed delivered price on a $/tonne basis.
None of this $/bale business or ex-farm business. Yes, that's right a
guaranteed price delivered to your farm by our certified, trained and friendly
drivers. So no surprises!!!
