The lower half of Australia has been experiencing some lovely rainfall, however, the northern states are experiencing some of the hottest & driest winter conditions on record. Hot dry winds coming from the Simpson desert do not seem to be bringing any rainfall with them anytime soon.
The demand for hay is increasing. Some crops are struggling in QLD & Northern NSW and are being considered for hay. This said, there is still ample supply of hay in the south to meet all feeding requirements.
