Neville Janke Feed Central

Neville Janke

Regional Sales Manager & Fertiliser Specialist

Neville Janke has been helping long term users of Hay and grain to experience the Feed Central way of sourcing quality Feed for hungry cattle. Many of you will know Neville as a qualified agronomist and Horticulturist with over 20 years experience guiding farmers in the Agricultural and Horticultural industries.

Neville will be able to assist you when it comes to fertiliser and feeding operation advice. Growing up on the Darling Downs in a mixed farming operation of dairy, beef & grain set Neville up on a lifetime journey of studying soil & plant nutrition. The first steps were taken in correcting the balance of nutrition for the production of quality produce. Many steps have followed and experience gained, this is assisted with industry knowledge in which Neville and Feed Central have been able to build relationships with.

Responsibility in managing Fertiliser and Feed Companies and the thirst for information saw Neville complete Diplomas in Business Management, Agriculture, Horticulture and Landscaping. Neville has also studied Mineral Nutrition and applied this to many sections of Soil, Plant and Animal requirements across Australia.

Jill Parker Feed Central

Jill Parker

National Grower & Quality Services Manager

Jill joined the Feed Central team in mid 2020 in the role of Grower & Quality Services Manager. Jill comes originally from WA, with most of her farming experience being achieved over 20 years as co-owner and manager of an intensive Horticulture property in Kununurra on the Ord River Irrigation Area.

During this time she managed contract picking, packing, marketing and logistics for up to 50 local producers over 5 crops.She has many years’ experience in group marketing with Australian Fresh Mangoes, Australian Outback Mangoes and was a member of various peak industry bodies.

QA systems such as Freshcare, SQF2000, NAASA, CACCP, Eurepgap and later with ISO 9000 will give her a good understanding of the Feed Central program. When not at work Jill enjoys snow skiing, sailing and spending time with her family.

Kimberley Detmers Feed Central

Quality Assurance Coordinator

Kimberley grew up on a small property surrounded by cattle and poultry most of her life. She has always had a passion for agriculture. This passion led her to complete a Bachelor of Science, with an extended major in Animal and Veterinary Bioscience through the University of Queensland.

Kimberley joined the Feed Central team in 2019 and is now our Quality Assurance Coordinator. Kimberley spends an extensive amount of time analysing the nutritional composition of feed samples, speaking with clients about their results, and liaising with our Dairy One partners to constantly monitor and improve our lab calibrations and capabilities. She is focused on providing Feed Testing results that will help source feed suitable to meet livestock production targets.

Stephen Page Feed Central

Stephen Page

Grower Services Manager

Steve attended school in Toowoomba at St Joseph’s and Downlands. He then started his working career with Elders working throughout Queensland for 9 years. In 1991 Steve took on the management of an agricultural business for a foreign investor in the Goondiwindi region where he remained for 24 years producing grain, cotton, wool and beef.

He has a strong connection to the land, enjoys being out seeing the country, meeting and helping all those associated with farming. Steve has completed a number of Diplomas and is presently completing a Degree in Agrifood Production at UNE.

Steve is married with two teenage children and loves having quality time with them. He enjoys motorbike trail rides with his son and listening to his daughter play music.

Danni Barnes Feed Central

Logistics & Office Manager

Danni is NSW born, NT & QLD raised and will always call QLD home. She has many years’ experience in the equine industry, from Vet Nurse to Practice Manager, and Stud Management of a large Standardbred Stud in South East QLD, jointly with her husband.

Danni’s passion and respect for the livestock / fodder industry stems from her lifelong love of horses and long-standing involvement in the equine discipline of Cutting. Danni, her husband Paul and son Tate live a country lifestyle on 40 acres just outside Toowoomba where they breed, train and show their own cutting bred quarter horses.

This couldn’t be done without cattle, farmers & fodder. With a strong history of Office Management and Bookkeeping to support her, Danni is thoroughly enjoying her new role within Feed Central’s Office and Logistics department and couldn’t be prouder to be part of such an integral part of the industry.

Andrew Mackenzie Feed Central

Andrew Mackenzie

Commercial Manager

Andrew joined Feed Central in 2021 as Commercial Manager. His role encompasses a variety of responsibilities including operational and financial management of projects and obtaining new business for Feed Central and subsidiary brands. Andrew is also the main point of call for managing a portfolio of our commercial relationships.

Andrew had a rural upbringing South of Roma, Qld, growing up around sheep and then cattle, this has given him an understanding of how important good quality feed is.

Andrew has had a diverse work history. He’s a Mechanic by trade, then was a small business owner for over 10 years, running cattle and providing mechanical services. He holds a diploma of Business, Bachelor of Commerce, and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Jusinta King Feed Central

Jusinta King


Jusinta joined the Feed Central team at the beginning of 2020. Through her studies, she fell in love with the agricultural industry and has always felt a strong sense of responsibility to contribute in any way she can. Growing up closely to the countryside, Jusinta views caring for Australian land and livestock very special and is grateful to have a part in it. Jusinta has roles within Administration, Logistics and Feed Testing.

Tim Ford Feed Central

Managing Director

Tim established Feed Central in 2002 and is the current Managing Director. Tim has extensive hay and family farming experience in Southern NSW, Victoria, Northern NSW and Queensland. He has worked at a professional level of marketing hay and agricultural produce both domestically and internationally for 20 years.

Born and bred in the Riverina, Tim completed part of his secondary education in Melbourne, some in Western Queensland and then in Brisbane, before attending the University of Queensland (Gatton) to study a Bachelor of Business (Agribusiness). Tim has travelled extensively within Australia and internationally to gain an exceptional understanding of climatic and market conditions.

Tim’s career motivation is to ensure that Fodder Industry produces product that meets our customer’s expectations and to ensure that there are commercial, market based mechanisms to benchmark, differentiate and reward quality production. Tim has served as a board member for Australia Fodder Industry Association (AFIA) and The Queensland Agricultural Merchants Assoc Inc. When not working at Feed Central Tim enjoys spending time with his growing family and improving the family home.
