- Log in to Feed Central: Begin by logging into your account on Feed Central. Ensure you have access to the account you wish to delete and are an authorised representative of the business. Your login details will be the ones you used to sign up with, and will work on both the app and website.
- Navigate to Privacy and Marketing Settings: Once logged in, click on the My Profile button at the top right of the screen and locate the ‘Marketing>Privacy and Marketing’ section within the account settings. This is where you can manage your data and privacy preferences.
- Initiate Deletion Request: Within the ‘Privacy and Marketing’ section, you will find various actions related to your data. Select the appropriate option to initiate the deletion process.
- Complete the Questionnaire: You will be prompted to answer a series of questions to confirm your deletion request. This may include confirming whether you want to delete just the user account, the associated business account, or both. Please answer all questions accurately to ensure the correct processing of your request.
- Review and Confirm: Before finalising your request, review all provided information. By confirming the deletion, you understand that this action is irreversible, and all your data, including account details and business information, will be permanently removed.
Legal Considerations: Your request will be processed in compliance with applicable data protection laws. Your data will be deleted from our active databases immediately upon confirmation of your request and from our backups within 30 days.
Consequences of Deletion: Please be aware that deleting your account will result in the loss of access to all Feed Central services, features, and any data you have stored or created within the app.
Alternatives to Deletion: If you’re considering deletion due to a specific issue, or if you would like to simply take a break, you may opt for account deactivation instead. This allows you to temporarily disable your account without permanently erasing your data.
